Great game for the price December 21, 2009 B. Jandula (Chicago, IL) I have a few friends that have played Heroes III on and off for about 4 years now, so I thought I'd give it a try. If you like Fantasy-turn based strategy games, this is one you should pick up. I bought III & IV for $10, I've put probably 20-30 hours into it and having a great time for the money.
Old school Fun January 30, 2010 Brenden Love (Deep South USA) I always loved this series. Now it comes combined. Good buy for the RPG/Adventure game fan.
great game February 24, 2010 Michael G. Olivas (gardena, california) i started with homm5 and was told by a friend number 3 was the best. played it, great game, not as good as 5 but still great addition to any fan of turn combat games
Heroes 3 is Great. Don't bother with 4. February 28, 2010 Darius Chen (Philadelphia, PA USA) HOMM 3 - terrific game. Hours and hours of fun and definite replayability. Heroes 4 - not so good, actually terrible. For the price, can't complain! Just heroes 3 alone made the game a worthwhile buy. Although as mentioned, does crash periodically on 64 Bit Win 7. Not so much that it becomes actually irritating but has happened a handful of times.
Epic Games April 14, 2010 D. Toufas These games are classics that are very unique. I consider it a cross between an RTS and RPG. You go through a somewhat complex story that may require some online reading to catch up with previous story about the worlds you are on. I by far love Heroes IV, Heroes III I always got frustrated with how hard it was. Both games consist of you building up castles and create armies in order to either explore and obtain artifacts or destroy your enemies. Other than intro cut scenes, the plot is textually displayed.
